Coconut Creek, FL---Adane Spence, a foward/midfielder from Coconut Creek High School, recently signed a letter of intent to play men's soccer for the Express next season.
As a junior, Spence had 16 goals and 10 assists en route to All-County honors.
Spence is from the same high school as recent BGSU signee and Express sophomore Juavanie Cole.
"Adane is a very steady player who brings a lot of versatility to our team," said Express men's soccer head coach Art Johnson. "He possesses the capability to be effective as a forward or midfielder.
"This gives us the option of loading the midfield to control the flow of the game or push into the forward line late in a game without having to use a substitution."
Spence, a native of Margate, Fla., joins Augustin Bonjour (Purificacion No. 28/Montevideo, Uruguay), Austin Combs (Anthony Wayne HS/Waterville, OH), Benjamin Rubin and Samuel Miller (Northview HS/Sylvania, OH) and Ahmad Jarrar (Hendersonville HS/Hendersonville, NC) as members of next year's freshmen class.
