Metamora, OH---Lesley Ducat, a RHP from Evergreen High School, signed a letter of intent during a ceremony at Owens Community College last week to become a member of the 2013-14 Express softball freshmen class.

As a junior, Ducat helped the Vikings record a 23-3 overall record, and she was named First Team All-Northwest Ohio Athletic League (NWOAL), Second Team All-District and 13 ABC Athlete of the Week for pitching a perfect game. Also during the year, Ducat led the Vikings to a district championship.

Lesley is the daughter of Leonard and Ann Ducat. The Lyons, OH native is a member of the National Honor Society and is coached at Evergreen by Molly Youtzy. She plans on majoring in criminal justice.

Ducat joins Alexandra Veres (Catcher, Cardinal Stritch HS/Oregon, OH) and Chelsea Evans (RHP, Grass Lake HS/Jackson, MI) as one of three members of the 2013-14 Express softball freshmen class.
