2017-18: Ames played in 25 matches for the Express last season. She finished with 56 kills for the season and averaged 1.87 K/S. She was also an All-OCCAC Academic Team member for the Spring Semester. 

Prior to Owens: Ames garnered Second Team All-Sandusky Bay Conference (SBC), First Team All-District and Honorable Mention All-Ohio recognition at Milan Edison. She was also named the team's MVP and top offensive player.

Academically, Ames was a merit roll student and a member of the Student Athletic Leadership Team (SALT).

Personal: Kennedy is the daughter of John and Tracey Henley.
