Owens Career: In 2001, he split catching duties with Todd Rinehart 26 hits and was tied for second on the team with 34 RBIs.

High School: In 86 as bats, Dorsey recorded 1999 Margaretta High School graduate, Castalia, Ohio, where he was Second Team All-District, First Team All-League and team MVP as a junior and senior.  He also holds Margaretta High School records for homeruns (6) and hits (37) in a season.
