Prior to Owens: Zitny was named the team's Coaches Award winner his senior year, and his team's Most Improved Player as a junior at Oxford, where he played for coach Jeff Willis. He will redshirt this year.

Personal: Matthew is the son of Chris and Kim Zitny. He has one sister, Lauren.
