Owens Career: Edwards became only the second NJCAA Academic All-American in men's basketball history (David Davis).  NJCAA Academic All-American and OCCAC All-Academic Team

Prior to Owens: Edwards earned All-Ohio Capital Conference First Team and All-Central District Honorable Mention honors during his time at Hayes High School.  He was Team Captain and participated in the District 11 All-Star Game.
