The 2019-20 campaign will mark the first for Freddie Zamora with the Owens Men's Basketball program. He comes to Owens while currently spending time as a 16U assistant coach with The AAU program, Mokan Elite, out of Overland, Kansas. He is in charge of film editing, scouting reports, and practices.

 

Prior to joining Mokan Elite, Coach Zamora spent time at the NCAA Division I level as a graduate assistant coach at Oral Roberts University (Summit League). He helped with player development, statistics and practice duties. Zamora is expected to graduate with a master’s degree in leadership and business in 2020. 

 

Zamora played collegiate basketball and ran cross country at Ohio Christian University. In his years with the team, they were 2011-2013 regional champions. He was awarded a leadership scholarship and graduated with his bachelor's degree in business administration and management.
