Scottsboro, AL---The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-II National Tournament begins on Tuesday as the No. 3 Express men's golf team looks to win the program's first national title.

On the tourney's first day, Region XII Player of the Year Brandon Hoelzer will be the first Express player to tee off, as he is part of Group 12 and will tee off at 8:39 a.m.

He will be followed by Walter Dorosh (Group 13, 8:48 a.m.), Blaze Hogan (Group 14, 8:57 a.m.), Luke Berger (Group 15, 9:06 a.m.), and Darren Gessner (Group 16, 9:15 a.m.).
Here is a listing of those five:

  Dorosh, Walter....... #13 - 1st tee  8:48am 
  Hogan, Blaze.......... #14 - 1st tee  8:57am 
  Berger, Luke.......... #15 - 1st tee  9:06am 
  Gessner, Darren..... #16 - 1st tee  9:15am

Each of those five golfers are paired with two other golfers, while the first tee shot overall on Tuesday will take place at 7 a.m. The final group tees off at 1 p.m.

On Wednesday, all 41 trios will reverse positions in terms of teeing off. For example, Group 41 will tee off at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, while Group 1 will tee off at 1 p.m.

Notes

The tournament will consist of four rounds (Tuesday-Friday) and is being played at Goose Pond Colony Golf Course in Scottsboro, AL. 

The tournament will consist of 18 teams and 122 players.

This will be Berger's second appearance in the NJCAA D-II National Tournament after qualifying as an individual last year.
