Owens Men's Golf Program Looking To Add Talent For Spring Season

Toledo, Ohio---The Owens Community College men's golf team, which has finished in the top 10 in the nation in each of the past two seasons, is looking to add some talent for their spring 2015 season.

Head coach Josh Williams, who has led the team to back-to-back conference and region championships, is specifically looking for at least two players.

Notes

In the past two years, the Owens men's golf program has had its best two-year stretch in program history. In that span, the team has earned back-to-back top 10 finishes at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament (10th in 2013, 5th in 2014), including the best finish in program history (2014). In 2014, the team achieved their first No. 1 NJCAA Division II national poll ranking in program history.

Additionally, in the past two years, Williams has guided Owens to 29 tournament wins, back-to-back OCCAC championships, back-to-back OCCAC Ryder Cup tournament championships, back-to-back Sub-Region XII tournament championships and back-to-back Region XII tournament championships.
