2014: Rubin did not score a point as a sophomore, but took two shots (one on goal). He tallied one assists in his two-year career as a defender.
2013: Rubin made 17 starts and saw action in 21 games as a freshman. He tallied one assist on the season from the defender position.
Prior to Owens: Rubin, who prepped at Sylvania Northview and was a member of Pacesetter Soccer Club, went undefeated at the Internationals Total Soccer Showcase this past year. He was part of a defense that allowed zero goals in three matches.
Also in 2012, Rubin was part of a team that went undefeated in the Blue Chip Showcase while allowing only one goal against while defeating three state champion teams. Additionally, his team won the Pacesetter Invitational outright while allowing only two goals in five games.
