Owens career: In 2001, Dangler recorded 38 hits and had 13 RBI, while also stealing 12 bases. She compiled a .308 batting average.

High School: Dangler was Second Team All-Suburban Lakes League as an outfielder, as well as Second Team and Honorable Mention All-SLL as a catcher. The recipient of the softball team's Coaches Award, she also received special mention as a member of the cross country team.
