Owens career: From 2005-07, Coressel was a member of the Express women's basketball team.

High School: Coressel was First Team and Honorable Mention All-Northwest Ohio Athletic League and First Team and Second team All-District. She also holds the school record for the highest batting average. Additionally, Coressel was a First Team All-NWOAL, First Team All-District and Special Mention All-Ohio selection in basketball.
