Toledo, OH---Aubrey Geis, a senior catcher at Toledo Christian High School, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Express softball program next season.
She will likely play multiple positions for the Express.
Geis, a native of Wauseon, OH, earned Second Team All-Northwest Ohio Athletic League (NWOAL) honors as a sophomore at Wauseon. Additionally, she had the team's highest batting average and highest on base percentage as a sophomore. Following that season, she transferred to Toledo Christian and won the Leadership and Sportsmanship Award as a senior.
Academically, Geis is an honor roll student at Toledo Christian, as well as a member of the National Honor Society. She plans on majoring in exercise science at Owens.

Geis joins Brittany George (3B/SS, Elmwood High School), Kendall Murphy (3B/C, Maumee High School), Lesley Ducat (RHP, Evergreen High School), Alexandra Veres (C, Cardinal Stritch High School) and Chelsea Evans (RHP, Grass Lake High School) as one of six members of the 2013-14 Express softball freshmen class.
The Express softball program finished 24-17 last season. They advanced to the Region XII District G championship before falling to Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
