Adams Named OCCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Toledo, OH---Eboni Adams, a freshman guard, was named women's basketball player of the week by the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) today for the week ending Jan. 13.

In her team's 81-61 win over Sinclair Community College on Jan. 12, Adams produced nine points, 11 assists, six rebounds and five steals.

For the season, Adams is averaging 3.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, almost two assists, and almost one steal per game.

The award was the first of the season for the OCCAC. Cincinnati State's Kindsay Brandt was the conference's POW recipient for the week ending Jan. 20.

The Express are 14-6 overall and 2-1 in the OCCAC. They are scheduled to take on Lakeland Community College at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow in the SHAC.
