2011-12: Kastel had one goal in her only season with the Express.

Prior to Owens: Kastel was a three-sport athlete (soccer, track and lacrosse) at Southview, where was a recipient of the Academic Scholar award with a 3.5 GPA or above. She played for head coach Mike Aubrey.

Personal: Shauna is the daughter of Steve and Kim Kastel. She is a pre-massage therapy certificate major at Owens.
