Pepper Pike, OH---Record breaking sophomore setter Molly Hilfinger will continue her athletic and academic career at Ursuline College.

"Molly brings a great deal of experience and leadership to our team," said Ursuline head women's volleyball coach Donna Day via UrsulineArrows.com. "I am looking for her to run our offense at a very high level. She has quick feet, soft hands and great vision."

The Whitehouse, OH native and Anthony Wayne High School graduate broke multiple program records while with the Express, who reached the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-II Final Four this past season. She broke the single match (64 vs Sinclair CC, Oct. 24), single season (1,518) and career assist (2,346) records this past year. Her season assist total was the third most in the nation.

Following this past season, Hilfinger was named First Team All-Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) and First Team All-Region XII. During the postseason, she was named to the all-tournament team in the Region XII District E tournament. In the NJCAA D-II National Tournament, Hilfinger recorded 169 assists, 52 digs, nine kills and seven assisted blocks over four matches.

As a freshman, Hilfinger was second on the team in assists with 828, which was the 11th highest single season total at the time. She was named the team's Most Improved Player.

Most importantly, in Hilfinger's two seasons with the Express, the team was 82-16 overall, won two OCCAC championships, one Region XII District E championship and appeared in one NJCAA D-II Final Four.

Hilfinger plans on majoring in nursing at Ursuline. The Arrows compete at the NCAA D-II level and play in the Great Midwest Athletic (G-MAC) Conference.
