Owens Career: In 2008, Brentlinger earned OCCAC Academic All-Conference honors.  Additionally, he collected 20 hits and 13 RBIs and compiled a .476 batting average.

High School: 2007 Anthony Wayne High School graduate, Whitehouse, Ohio, where he was Second Team and Honorable Mention All-Northern Lakes League and First Team All-District.
