Owens career: In 2001, Post sat out the entire season. During the 2000 season, she broke the Owens record for home runs with five. Her postseason honors included receiving All-OCCAC honors, as well as being named to the Region XII All-Tournament team.

High School: Post was a two-time letter winner in softball at Southview.
