Owens career: In 2003-04, Peer was an Academic All-OCCAC selection while averaging 3.5 points and 1.5 assists per game.

High School: 2003 Ann Arbor Huron High School graduate, Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she received Third Team and Honorable Mention All-Area honors. She earned four varsity letters and was selected as the team's captain during her senior year. In addition, she was a scholar athlete.
