2014: Burnette, who battled an injury most of her sophomore year, finished with two goals in her final year with Owens. She closed her two-year career with seven goals and one assist. Prior to missing 12 games due to an injury, Burnette scored the game-winning goal on Sept. 21 in a 1-0 win on the road over Cincinnati State. She started three of her nine games played as a sophomore.

2013: Burnette finished sixth on the team in scoring (11 points) and tied for fourth on the team in goals scored as a freshman. She totaled five goals and one assist, and she scored a season-high two goals against Lorain County on Sept. 21.

Prior to Owens: Burnette was an offensive star at Oak Harbor High School under the direction of head coach Renee Goldstein. She was a four-year letter winner who scored 71 career goals. Additionally, she totaled six hat tricks, 16 assists, 675 touches/takeaways and attempted 374 shots in her career. 

In terms of awards, Burnette was Second Team All-Sandusky Bay Conference (SBC) and Second Team All-District as a senior. During her junior year, she was Honorable Mention All-SBC and Honorable Mention All-District. She was also Honorable Mention All-SBC as a sophomore.

Her team was a four-time SBC champion, three-time sectional champion and a two-time district runner-up. She helped her team capture 48 straight league wins at one point during her career.

Academically, she maintained a 3.2 GPA.

Personal: Amber is the daughter of Chris and Racheal Losie. She has two brothers, Andy and Adam.
