TOLEDO, Ohio --- The No. 2 Owens Community College volleyball team will host a trio of matches this weekend, highlighted by a pair of conference tilts inside the Student Health and Activities Center (SHAC).

The Express (12-4, 3-1 OCCAC) will open the action with a 6 p.m. matchup against Edison State (4-5, 3-1) on Friday. Both teams are currently tied for second place in the conference standings behind Terra State.

Following that, the Red and White will take on Clark State (4-7, 1-2) and Muskegon (6-2) at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, on Saturday. Owens has split with those two teams this year, including a straight-set win over Clark State on Sept. 11.

Winners of six of the past seven matches, Owens is coming off a four-set victory over Lorain County on Wednesday in which McKenna Babcock (Metamora, Ohio/Evergreen HS) matched her season-high with 16 kills.

Following this weekend, Owens will travel to Edison State next Wednesday.
