2013: Snowden saw action in 13 games as a freshman, while tallying one goal and one assist.
Prior to Owens: Snowden was the Co-Northern Buckeye Conference (NBC) Player of the Year and the Alan Miller Jeweler's Press Player of the Year as a senior. He did that despite his lone goal coming on Oct. 6 in a 1-0 win over Oak Harbor. As a junior, Snowden was the runner-up by one vote for the NBC Player of the Year award.
Snowden was also a standout football and track athlete at Eastwood.
Personal: Derek is the son of Ronald Snowden and Audra South. He has four siblings, Gary, Brittnay, Ronniece and Devin.
